I was commissioned by my aunt Karin to paint an old photo of her parents, my grandmother and grandfather. A fantastic photo of them as young people sometime in 1940. A great fun and satisfying mission.

I wanted to create a warm and cozy summer feeling. A fleetingness. Youth and light-heartedness. At the same time preserving the feeling in the old sepia colored photo.
